LA Sublimation Fabric Library
We Know Fabrics
We’re a specialty cut-and-sew factory built for specialty brands, and great products start with great materials.
We source our fabrics through our network in Downtown Los Angeles and are extremely selective about what makes it onto our production floor.
We’re not chasing the cheapest material available just to save a few bucks.
We care about the weight, stretch, feel, performance, durability, and most importantly, how the finished product actually comes out.
You don’t need to be a fabric expert.
That’s our job.

Our Fabric Library gives you a closer look at the materials we use throughout production.
The library includes 45 individual fabric and material cards, with everything from performance jerseys and athletic meshes to stretch materials, fleece, Sherpa, velvet, towels, bandanas, and specialty materials.
Each card gives you the important stuff:
Fabric Name & Code
Composition
GSM
And a visual look at the material so you can get a better idea of its texture and construction.
You Don’t Need to Choose Your Own Fabric
When you select a standard product from our catalog, we’ve already done the work for you.
Every product has a production fabric selected based on its construction and intended use.
We look at things like stretch, weight, hand feel, performance, drape, durability, and how the material actually behaves in production.
Different products need different materials.
A performance polo shouldn’t feel like a football jersey, and a hoodie shouldn’t be built from the same material as a pair of boardshorts.
We match the material to the product.
What Does GSM Mean?
You’ll see GSM throughout the Fabric Library.
GSM stands for grams per square meter. It’s simply a measurement of the weight of the material.
Generally, a lower GSM means a lighter fabric, while a higher GSM means a heavier, more substantial fabric.
But heavier doesn’t automatically mean better.
The right fabric depends on what you’re making.
Why We’re Selective About Fabric
Fabric can make or break a product.
You can have great artwork and great construction, but if you start with the wrong material, the finished product isn’t going to feel right.
That’s why we’re selective about what we use.
We’re not building our fabric program around finding the cheapest imported material available.
We focus on sourcing materials that have the feel, performance, durability, and finished quality we want coming out of our factory.
We’re a specialty factory for specialty brands. The materials should reflect that.
Can I Request a Different Fabric?
Absolutely — but custom fabric requests require a minimum production run of 100 pieces.
Our standard catalog products already have the fabric we recommend assigned to them.
If you want to switch to a different material, our production team will first make sure it works with the product you’re making.
Changing fabrics can affect the fit, stretch, construction, print results, sewing, and overall feel of the finished product.
For orders under 100 pieces, we use the standard fabric assigned to the product.
