How to Use the LA Sublimation Designer Tool

The LA Sublimation Designer Tool lets you create, preview, and prepare products for production directly inside the LA Sublimation Portal.

Choose a product, create your design on our production templates, generate a 3D render, and then order the product or publish it to your Shopify store.

1. Choose Your Product

Start by selecting a product from the LA Sublimation catalog.

You can choose from over 220 cut-and-sew styles available through the portal.

Once you've selected your product, open the Designer Tool to begin.

2. Create Your Design

The Designer opens the production template for the product you've selected.

From here, you can:

Upload logos and artwork
Change colors
Add patterns and graphics
Position and scale artwork
Design individual garment panels
Add supported personalization

Your artwork is being created on the templates used to prepare the product for manufacturing.

Designing Sports Uniforms

For sports products, you don't always have to start from scratch.

Choose from available preset designs, change the colors to match your team, upload your logos, and customize the uniform.

Supported products can also include personalized:

Player names
Player numbers
Team names
Logos
Other variable information

This makes it easy to create a complete team look while still customizing it for your organization.

Already Have Your Artwork? Right On.

If your artwork is already complete, you can use the Designer Tool for artwork layout and production setup.

Place your artwork onto the appropriate product templates, adjust the positioning and scale, and prepare the artwork needed to generate print-ready production files.

You don't need to redesign the product just to use the Designer.

3. Generate Your 3D Render

Once your artwork is applied, the Designer generates a 3D render of your product.

The 3D preview allows you to view the garment from different angles and see how your artwork comes together across the finished product.

Your 3D render can also be used as your product mockup when selling the item online.

4. Save Your Product

Save your finished design to your account.

Your product, design, artwork, and production information stay connected inside the LA Sublimation Portal, making future orders and reorders much easier.

5. Order in Bulk

Need a bulk production run?

Use the product you've already created and place your order directly through the portal.

For example, you can design a custom polo and order 250 pieces without having to recreate the artwork or submit a separate design.

6. Publish to Shopify

Want to sell your product online?

Publish your finished product and its 3D product mockup directly to your Shopify store.

Once connected, customer orders can flow back into the LA Sublimation Portal and into production using the product and design you've already created.
