Where Can I Download a Template?

To download a design template:

1. Navigate to the Create page in your LA Sublimation Portal.
2. Click the Inspect icon next to the style you’re interested in.
3. A panel will open with more details about the style — scroll to the bottom left to find the Download Template link.

Please note: Our design templates come in specific file formats—.ai for sublimation and .psd for DTF. You must use software that fully supports the file type for the style you’re working on. Attempting to edit templates in unsupported programs may cause file errors and delay your orders. Support for product design is limited to the appropriate file format for the style you are creating.

Downloading Templates with Safari Browser:

If you’re using Safari to download a template, be sure to right-click (or control+click) the download link and select “Download Linked File As…” to avoid any issues.

On the Save dialog, make sure you keep the extension as .ai

Locate the saved template file on your device and open it using Adobe Illustrator.

Important: If you select "Download Linked File" instead of "Download Linked File As...", the template may save as a “.ai.ps” file. In that case, you'll need to rename the file in Finder by removing the “.ps” extension for it to open correctly.

Note: Simply clicking (without right-clicking or control-clicking) the Download Template link in Safari may result in an empty PDF file being saved instead of the correct template. These are known issues when downloading .ai files using Safari.

Where do I upload my design from the template?

Once you’ve finished designing your product using the template, you’re ready to upload your design and start selling your product.

Before uploading, please make sure you’ve completed these two important steps:

• Have you properly finished your design using the template?
• Have you correctly exported your base file?

Once you’ve confirmed these, you’re ready to upload your design and create your product for sale!

1. Click the Create icon on the style you designed using the downloaded template.

2. In the Product Designer interface, click the Adobe Illustrator icon located at the bottom left.

3. Name your product

*Note: You can also Download Template on this screen if you clicked Create rather than Inspect when browsing our style catalog

4. Upload the Base File you exported from the design template.

• *Note: Ensure you followed the correct export instructions above, and that your .jpg file is named exactly as shown in the example on the upload page.

Once your base file is uploaded, it will appear under Files Added.

5. Click Next.

You’ll then have the option to sync your product with your ecommerce store. After that, your product will be created and ready for selling and ordering.
