How do I change the shipping address of an order?

Need to Change a Shipping Address? Here’s How:

There are several reasons you might need to update the shipping destination for an order. The steps required will depend on how the order was placed and how far along it is in production.


eCommerce Orders (Shopify or WooCommerce)

If your account is integrated with an eCommerce platform like Shopify or WooCommerce, you can usually update the shipping address directly through your store’s admin panel.

  • Update the address in Shopify or WooCommerce.
  • As long as all items are still in production (not yet in Finishing, Ready to Ship, or Shipping), the new address will be automatically pulled when the shipping label is created.
  • To confirm item status, log into your LA Sublimation Client Portal, enter the order number in the top-right search bar, and check each item’s current location.


⚠️ If any items are past Sewing (e.g., in Finishing, Ready to Ship, or Shipping):

Shipping labels have already been created, and you will need to contact our fulfillment team to make the change.

Manual Orders (Placed via Portal or CSV Upload)

If your order was placed manually (either through the LA Sublimation Portal or a CSV upload), you’ll need to edit the shipping address directly in the portal.

Here’s how:

  1. Log into your LA Sublimation Portal.
  2. Use the top-right search bar to find the order by order number.
  3. On the order page, click the “Edit Shipping” button.
  4. Update the address details and save your changes.

Managing Your Order

In your Dashboard, locate the order and click “Manage” to view or edit shipping and other order settings.


  • On the right side, click on the three dots to pull up order editing options
  • Select Edit Shipping


  • A pop-up will appear with the current Shipping Address for the order
  • Update the Shipping Address
  • Click Save Changes to update the Shipping Address on your order

Updating a Shipping Address

Please note — address changes can only be made if all items in your order are still in production (nothing has left the sewing stage).

You can confirm this by logging into your LA Sublimation Portal, entering the order number in the search bar, and checking the current location of each item.


If Items Have Moved Past Sewing

If any pieces have advanced to Finishing, Ready to Ship, or Shipping, your labels have already been created using the original address. In this case, updates must be handled manually by our fulfillment team.

For Custom Integrations

If your store uses a custom integration or external fulfillment engine, you’ll need to update the address within your own admin system according to your internal process.

LA Sublimation generates shipping labels once all items are checked into the Shipping station — edits should be made before that point.
