What Is Dye-Sublimation?

Dye-sublimation is a printing process that permanently transfers artwork into polyester fabric using heat and pressure.

How the process works

Your artwork is printed with sublimation inks, transferred into the fabric, and then cut and sewn into the finished garment. Because the color becomes part of the fabric instead of sitting on top of it, the print remains smooth and flexible.

Why brands choose sublimation

Sublimation allows full-color, all-over artwork without the heavy feel of traditional surface printing. It is especially effective for uniforms and performance apparel because the finished print will not crack, peel, or restrict the fabric’s natural movement.

Best artwork results

Use the official style template whenever possible. Vector artwork and high-resolution graphics provide the cleanest production results. Colors shown on a monitor may vary from the final fabric, so request a sample when exact color matching is critical.
